We just got back from our walk about 30 minutes ago. When we were walking she ate a little bit of grass by the lake thats by our house. when we first got back everything was fine. She went and drank some water and laid down in her dog bed. Her regular food is Blue Buffalo Life Protection. She is almost 6 years old. When we first adopted her she had to be on a special diet for a while because she had a urinary tract infection. but its gone now and we’ve had her almost a year. I thought i would mention some of her medical history. Anyways i don’t think its something that needs immediate vet attention but if it continues i will take her. Our walks always last about 20-25 minutes because she has alot of energy and she loves to walk. And shes never puked after a walk before
Oh and i forgot to mention that the grass that she ate has NOT been treated with anything. So it couldn’t be that
I want to crate train our new 4 month old puppy, but my mom doesn’t think it’s right to leave the dog in a crate for an hour and stuff? How long did it take your puppy to be housebroken with crate training? is there any other house braking training? THx

Jones Chihuahuas’ web site is www.joneschihuahuas.com This is a video of Chili’s birth. Ruby had a long and hard labour. Both her two pups came breach. Both got cought in the birth connel because of their size. If I had left Ruby to have her pups alone she would have died along with her pups. No one has the right to breed, it must be earned with years of research and hands on with other breeders help. I have talked to so many people that felt they had the right to breed their Chihuahua and they lost the dog and the pups, because they didn’t know what to do and did not want to pay for a C-section on their dog (they told me they couldn’t afford it). Next year when I breed Ruby I will be using a different male. If she has the same problem, she will be spayed and pet homed. Her well being is my first consern. Both pups are fine and very healthy. Ruby is doing find now as well.
