How can i potty train it by a crate?I seriously have no Idea(new dog owner)

Hello,i jus got a new puppy as a gift from my fiance and he bought her off a person selling them so i dont have history of the dog at all i dont know how old she is eaither. the guy said 6months but she looks full grown so maybe a year or more. but i am a new puppy owner and need some help on how to potty train her and just what chihuahuas need baisicly im looking to any help on how to care for them were they shoud sleep on what etc. . but the main one is potty training her. she wont seem to go outside when its raining i take her out in the morning and sometimes she goes sometimes she doesnt i need help. she needs to go outside all the time not just sometimes. thank you{:

My one year old Sheltie always soils at home. I do take him out, he tries to run away home. He is also street-scared, when he was 6 months old, my dad took him out and the skateboard scared the dookie out of him any tips on how to make him restore this confidence and potty training tips?

I Have a 10 month american bulldog Who doesn’t ton accelerator getting the potty training thing SEEM. Ive Tried crate training and IT works. until, and hes just roaming the house home. I live in a two story and know tonne When He Needs to go if one out of which the 2nd story house. So INSTEAD OF HIM IT holding, or letting me know, he ‘; ll just go!

i am trying to train my 11 week old chihuahua/maltese puppy to potty both outside and on puppy pads. i have placed her crate, food, and pads in the kitchen which is gated off. i leave her crate open at all times and the baby gate shut because i know i know she cant hold her pee too long. BUT IM CONFUSED ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT I SHOULD BE CLOSING THE CRATE. by leaving her crate open am i discouraging bladder control? right now she is about 50/50 half the time she goes on the pad and half the time on the kitchen floor, and always whenever we let her into the rest of the house.
