6 weeks pregnant with a very sensitive stomach?

Posted under: Chihuahua Articles

am now 6 weeks pregnant with a history of 2 miscarriages. Lately I have been feeling weak and tired. I was laying down on the bed and my Chihuahua pounced on my stomach and it hurt like the lower part of my stomach. Is this normal? Is the stomach this sensative at 6 weeks pregnant?

I am a first time pet owner. He’s a shih-tzu/chihuahua. He’s about 6 weeks old, what do I feed him?

I will be taking him away from his mother, but I do not want to bottle feed him and would like to start him on soft puppy food. What kind of puppy food is best?

my puppy has stiff crusty edges around the ears. He is a chihuahua only 14 weeks old why the yucky crust ?

Posted under: Chihuahua Articles

His ears are dry and crusty looks like dried blood. He recently had trauma to his back right leg and seems sickly. Crust could be from trauma ?

How could i attract my 14 weeks old pup’s attention? And others problems i faced…?

Posted under: Chihuahua Articles

The puppy was a Chihuahua X Shih Tzu Hybrids. She inherited mostly everything including Chihuahua’s temperament except the ear is Shih Tzu’s. She is now doing crate training; so I had 2 let it out at home for some time in the day. But when I let her out, she keeps running like a wild horse or sniffing the floor, but I can’t get her attention to me. She was so busy that sometimes even I hold a treat in my hand, she just simply don’t care when I call her name (Not Always). Another problem with her is she biting the leash that I hooked 2 the collar and sometimes trying 2 take off her collar by shaking or scratching. She looks like she dislike the leash and the collar but she still need 2 put it on! I heard of others dog walk their master, but in my case, she is biting and pulling the lead backwards from the direction I am facing, trying 2 stop me from going. I also tried 2 train him 2 sit, but after a few times, she sat down without my commend and waiting for me 2 give her treat (dry food).

Stimulating to Urine/Defecate and Feeding Baby Chihuahua 2 weeks?

Posted under: Chihuahua Articles

Okay I have a 2 week old chihuahua, the mother isnt around. I am feeding it formula (trying anyhow) about every 5 hours. She is drinking like. . . maybe a half of a 2 liter bottle cap of it each time. (idk how else to describe it lol) Is this normal or how much at this age should she eat? She does not like being held and fights being fed. I feel bad forcing her.

Also my other questions, stimulating to make her urine/defecate. How often should i do it? I usually do it immediately after she eats. but the times ive done it barely any urine has come out. Twice she has peed on the bed a lot so i guess im not timing the stimulation right. And also when i stimulate her to poo, how much poop comes out? I havent seen it yet. . idk whether to try more or if there is nothing to come out. Thank you. . . Im a bit lost lol.
I dont have money for a vet. But ive been reading all over the internet i got the idea of everything. I get her to pee but i cant get her to defecate because she squirms SOO badly and cries. its really sad. . i cant do anything with her like that. Also most of the time she wont even drink out of the bottle, she fights me on it. its really difficult. If you want to see what happened to the mother, refer to this post: http://answers. yahoo. com/question/index;_ylt=AvqhHvP3mzm5WKQrzk7xyqrsy6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20101208171012AA9XQpH
